Inspired by his love of 1950s comic books, Simmons reimagines two of the genre’s most iconic heroes locked in a passionate embrace. His bold depictions of Batman and Superman have become instantly recognisable, provoking conversations about identity, sexuality and the courage to live authentically. By reframing these characters, Simmons emphasises how their status as heroes transcends labels, encouraging viewers to see people for their actions and choices above all else.
With bold black outlines, vibrant tones of yellow, red, blue and pink, and meticulous stencil work, Simmons transforms the rebellious energy of graffiti into fine art.
