Mailbox Wins International Green Apple Environment Award
Mailbox has been officially recognised as a winner at The International Green Apple Environment Awards 2026 for our intern programme in partnership with BMet, entered within the Property & Estate Management – Corporate Social Responsibility category.
This is an outstanding achievement and, importantly, represents international recognition of the considerable amount of work, commitment and collaboration that has gone into supporting young adults with disabilities to develop the skills, confidence and practical workplace experience needed to progress towards meaningful employment.
The ultimate objective has always been to help create a pathway into employment for young adults who can face additional barriers when entering the workplace. To now have that work recognised through an International Green Apple Award is a tremendous endorsement of what has been achieved and of Mailbox Birmingham Ltd’s wider commitment to social responsibility, inclusion, and best practice.
The award will be formally presented at the House of Lords, Houses of Parliament, Palace of Westminster, London, on Monday 23rd of November 2026.
