From 12th – 15th February 2026, Birmingham’s city centre will be transformed once again with stunning light installations, and we are so thrilled to be welcoming Our Beating Heart by Studio Vertigo to Mailbox.
Our Beating Heart reimagines one of nightlife’s most universal icons – the mirror ball – and reshapes it into a symbol of connection and compassion this Valentines weekend. As the heart rotates to the beat, it scatters glimmers of light onto passing faces, couples holding hands and friends dancing under the stars. By day, it brightly mirrors its surroundings. By night, it becomes a beacon of light.
