The UK’s leading art retailer, Castle Fine Art, has announced it will be relocating its headquarters to a new, 10,000 sq ft office at Mailbox, Birmingham this summer.
Currently based in Erdington, Castle Fine Art’s new head office will sit parallel to its 6,000 sq ft flagship gallery, which opened at Mailbox in 2019.
Designed by Three Sixty Commercial Interiors, the unique space looks to optimise light and create an inspirational environment for its head office teams. Features include a glass mezzanine, multi-purpose meeting room, pop-up gallery, breakout and leisure zones and a podcast studio.
Ian Weatherby-Blythe, Group Managing Director, commented: “Castle Fine Art is proud to be a business born and bred in the Midlands, and we’re hugely excited to have the opportunity to move our UK headquarters to such a prominent city centre location at Mailbox.
“As traditional ways of working continue to evolve, we wanted to create a new, dynamic head office environment that would inspire and excite our teams. Mailbox offered exactly that, with superb amenities and quality leisure spaces on our doorstep. This move reflects the continued growth of our business, and we look forward to joining Birmingham’s vibrant office community later this year.”
Ruth Miley, M7’s senior asset manager for the Mailbox continued: “We are delighted that Castle Fine Art has chosen Mailbox for its new head office, following the success of its flagship gallery.
“The combination of strong location, high-quality space and a 24/7 mixed-use environment has established Mailbox as one of the city’s leading destinations for world-class businesses, offering a unique place to work. With a string of new openings to be announced in the coming months, including the opening of Spaces, a 50,000 sq ft flexible co-working office space in May, this is an incredibly exciting time for the city’s business community.”
Mailbox provides Grade A office space to a range of occupiers including BBC Birmingham, Advanced, WSP and Associated Architects.
