The best products treatments and tricks from Mailbox – as told by the experts themselves, find the best autumn/winter beauty on Level 2 and 3
Nicky Clarke Argan Oil 75ml, £20
Helen Carson-Brown, Senior Technical Director at Nicky Clarke: My favourite product has to be Nicky Clarke Argan oil. It’s nourishing without being too heavy and unlike some serums that coat the hair, this soaks into the hair to condition from within. Simply add a couple of dots to damp hair and blow-dry with your favourite brush to banish frizz or leave to dry naturally for healthy, bouncy curls.
For a really intense treatment add a dozen dots of Argan Oil to cleansed and towel dried hair, leave on for 20 mins and then rinse out. It’s my go-to product for anyone with dry, frizzy or damaged hair.
Pixi Beauty Rose Tonic 100ml, £10, Harvey Nichols
Helen Gough, Beauty Manager at Harvey Nichols: Having been a fan of Pixi’s cult favourite Glow Tonic exfoliator for years, I was so excited when the brand new Rose Tonic landed at Harvey Nichols Birmingham. I use it morning and evening as a part of my skincare routine to gently remove any extra impurities and makeup after cleansing which leaves my face feeling soft and fresh whilst also adding a boost of hydration. It’s made a huge difference to the overall appearance of my skin!
Laser Hair Removal from £199, Flint+Flint
Melissa, Manager at Flint + Flint: The conquest for hair freedom can be tiresome, as it not only occupies too much of our daily routine but can also affect our confidence and self-esteem. Lasher Hair Removal is a long-term solution for body or facial hair and it can also help with excess hormonal hair growth. Here at Flint + Flint, we use the Cynosure Elite+™ Laser which generates heat to destroy the hair follicles in a painless and very effective process.
Winter is the perfect time to start a course of treatment which usually takes 6-9 months, you’ll see perfect results in time for summer.

Label. M Anti-Frizz Balm 150ml, £17.95, Toni&Guy Essensuals
Sydney Alford, Stylist at Toni & Guy Essensuals: My favourite hair care product is the Label. M Anti-Frizz Balm. It’s my go-to product as it helps to tame thick, coarse hair whilst reducing blow drying time. It can be used on both straight and curly hair types for more manageable hair and a soft, silky look. I work the balm into damp hair to seal the cuticles for a frizz-free blow dry. It contains argan oil to moisturise hair and prevent split ends, green tea extract which is a great agent for smoother hair, and baobab oil which helps to create volume, making it my ideal product.
Kérastase Mousse Bouffante 150ml, £21, James Bushell
James Bushell, Director at James Bushell Hair: Kérastase Mousse Bouffante is my go-to product. I use it across all three salons in Birmingham including Harvey Nichols. All of my clients love it and it’s one of our bestsellers because of its versatility. If you’re looking to give your hair luxurious volume and hold, this is the perfect product for you.

RevitaLash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner, £110, Harvey Nichols
Luisa Hackney, Stylist at Harvey Nichols: After having a couple of lash extension treatments, I noticed my natural lashes had suffered some damage and were looking a little sparse. I was recommended RevitaLash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner as a way of repairing them and within just a couple of weeks of daily use, they were noticeably longer, more luxurious and healthier than ever, The RevitaLash™ formula contains a proprietary blend of proven functional cosmetic ingredients combined with an infusion of powerful peptides and soothing botanicals, designed to both beautiful and nourish the eyelashes. It’s worth noting this is not a quick fix and you really have to be consistent and use the product as instructed, but I couldn’t live without it now.
