Having tested a sample of Crème de la Mer’s soft cream moisturiser a couple of weeks ago I was keen to visit the brand’s concession in Harvey Nichols to learn more about the brand and the luxury skincare products it offers.
I have sensitive skin so I decided to book in with one of Crème de la Mer’s skincare experts for a facial and a good chat about what my skin needed.
I was greeted by Lorna who showed me to the tranquil and stylish beauty treatment room located in the women’s wear section. Lorna instantly made me feel comfortable and relaxed and took the time to understand my current skin care regime and listen to my concerns and questions about what I should be doing for my skin type.
Based on our chat Lorna selected a number of products, which would best suit my skin and got to work. Having cleansed and toned my skin she used a delicious refining exfoliating treatment, which polished my skin and left it looking fresh and translucent. As well as giving my skin an injection of moisture via the miraculous soft cream moisturiser she also used a radiant serum and nourishing concentrate to nurture my skin and assist with the natural renewing process.
The session lasted about 45 minutes and left me feeling the most relaxed I have felt in a long time. As well as concentrating on the facial treatment, Lorna devoted time to giving me a head, arm and hand massage using the beautiful Body Crème. This is literally like a seaweed wrap in a jar and left my skin feeling hydrated and luxuriously soft.
The facial treatment was extremely gentle and left my skin feeling and looking fantastic. The team at Crème de la Mer were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and as well as providing me with a wonderful treatment also provided me with good advice.
It’s important to also note that the cost of the Crème de la Mer facial (£50) is redeemable against products purchased on the same day! Time to book another treatment I think!
