Festive Drinks at the Mailbox

Whether it’s a couple of after-work drinks with colleagues or an evening with friends, nothing gets us in the Christmas spirit quite like a festive tipple. From expertly crafted cocktails to traditional mulled wine, here are our picks of the best festive drinks to enjoy at the Mailbox this Christmas.

Gas Street Social

With cosy ski chalets, pine trees, antlers, snow, twinkling lights and cheese fondu, Gas Street Social’s Aspen-themed ski lodge is the perfect place to gather with friends and enjoy a mulled cider, a paddle of Christmas shots or a seasonal cocktail, including a Christmas Pudding Martini!

You won’t be able to resist this sweet cocktail from Pennyblacks! Made from gingerbread syrup, milk cream, vodka and Baileys, the drink also comes with an adorable mini gingerbread man especially for dunking!

This Christmas, the talented team at Aluna will be serving up two winter warmers for you cocktail connoisseurs. For something short and sophisticated, try the Festive Old Fashioned complete with Mozart Chocolate Bitters and Frangelico, or for something longer, why not opt for the Sloe Mule – a rum based cocktail with a splash of sloe gin for good measure.

Can’t decide what you fancy? Head to Chez Mal at Malmaison and make your way through the extensive winter drinks menu. Opt for traditional mulled wine and mulled cider or for something a bit different, try the Chocolate Orange Sazerac – a whisky based cocktail with Grand Marnier, crème de cacao and bitters.

Nothing says Christmas like cheese and port. Gather your friends and head to newly opened Bottles where you can treat yourself to a bottle of Taylor’s Tawny 20 Years Port perfectly paired with the sharing cheese board. With a selection of English and continental cheeses, served with quince jelly, balsamic onions, grapes, crackers and fresh bread, sharing might be easier said than done!
