Al Fresco dining whilst the sun is shining at Mailbox

There’s nothing quite like enjoying a delicious meal in the sunshine. With an enviable selection of outdoor terraces to choose from, head to the Mailbox this summer to lap up the sun whilst enjoying our famous menus and a spot of people watching.

Cote Brasserie

Tucked away in the corner, surrounded by lush greenery, Cote’s outdoor seating area is one of the most impressive al fresco dining terraces in the city. Secluded from passing traffic but still in eyeshot of the canal, Cote is the perfect location for a meal in the sunshine.

Bar Estilo

There are so many cuisines to try at the Mailbox but for a taste of Spain, head to Bar Estilo. Be transported straight to the sunny streets of Barcelona as you enjoy the Estilo Paella out on the terrace – a spiced up version of the Spanish classic with chorizo, chicken, prawns, mussels and squid.

Aluna

Just feet away from the water is one of the most recommended cocktail bars in the city. You can grab a light-bite as you drink, but have a look at their full menu and you’ll see that the food is just as good as the cocktails!

Café Rouge

Looking down from the top level onto the canal is Café Rouge, offering fantastic French cuisine in a setting that could rival the South of France. With its large sun terrace overlooking the canal, Café Rouge Mailbox is the perfect spot for romance, catching up and soaking up the evening sun.

Red Peppers

Red Peppers offers a mouth-watering menu, with an eclectic mix of flavours from around the world. And it also boasts a prime position at the Mailbox with stunning views over the entire canalside. With a new look and a brand new menu, the spacious terrace is the perfect spot for people watching on a warm summer’s day.

Terrace 2

Miller & Carter

Sharing the upper terrace with Café Rouge, you’re guaranteed a seat with a view at Miller & Carter. Take in the views and enjoy a classic steak as the sun sets on the beautiful Birmingham skyline.

Gas Street Social

Gas Street Social is known for trademark cocktails. Found on the middle level of bars, it’s the perfect after-work watering hole. But for the early risers, find reward here with the famous bottomless Bellini brunch.

Pennyblacks

Whether it’s the Euro 2016 or Rio 2016, a summer of sport is heading our way and you can catch it all right here at Pennyblacks. And if the sport is proving difficult to watch, you’ve always got the views just over your shoulder.
